A nose for barrels
The Darnajou cooperage has created at Artigues-de-Lussac a new production site which will enable it to diversify with a wider range of hand-crafted barrels.

We are delighted to announce that we acquired this certification at the end of 2018! We announced last year that we wished to acquire ISO 22000‐2005 certification, so that we may now officially guarantee you the level of quality and traceability that we have been implementing for many years in the past.
This certification should allow us to have greater control over our risks and to be attentive to all our interested parties.

The Darnajou cooperage is participating in the ADEC scheme to develop jobs and skills in the cooperage world. Published 23rd December 2015
Set up as an experimental ADEC scheme in Aquitaine, it will be headed by eight companies, one of which is an oak stave supplier, in the departments of Dordogne, Gironde and Lot-et-Garonne over a period of 15 months, from October 2015 to 31st December 2016.

The Darnajou cooperage has been selected by the Aquitaine region for the trialling of the double label Egalité professionnelle et diversité dans les entreprises aquitaines (Professional Equality and Diversity for Aquitaine Companies).
Thursday 3rd July: the Aquitaine region has put in place over the last several years a proactive policy to bring professional equality between the sexes and has just initiated an action to encourage small and medium-sized businesses to take part in an innovative scheme, put forward by Alain Rousset, the president of the regional Aquitaine council, and Naïma Charaï, regional councillor responsible for equality between the sexes.
